Hope One

A mobile recovery access vehicle that offers critical support for persons struggling with addiction, with the goals of preventing drug overdoses and deaths, as well as mental health services. HOPE ONE travels four times a week to locations throughout Morris County, bringing services to persons in need. A Sheriff’s office, licensed mental health professional, and a certified peer recovery specialist – who understand the needs of those suffering with addiction — staff the vehicle. They help people access services and Narcan training. IFPN provides Hope One with Hospitality Bags, which contain food that can be. They contain food that can be prepared with minimal effort or no preparation for persons sheltered in a motel or experiencing homelessness. Easy mac, foods with pop-top lids, shelf-stable milk, PB&J and bread, etc. They do not include pasta, sauce, or anything that requires a great deal of preparation. More information.
