The food pantry has needs that are specific to the upcoming holiday season, plus a list of items that are needed for distribution throughout the year. Click here for a printable flyer.
You can also utilize our Virtual Food Drive. Send out the link to your family, friends and co-workers to help us collect our most needed Thanksgiving items.
When do you need food for Thanksgiving?
We are now accepting large chickens, turkeys and hams. Please note that we begin giving Thanksgiving food to our neighbors on November 1 and our warehouse becomes especially busy in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, so we kindly ask you to schedule your drop-off as early as possible, preferably by the first week in November.
When and where can I drop off food donations?
Address for drop-off: 2 Executive Drive, Morris Plains, NJ 07950
Food can be delivered to the warehouse Monday – Thursday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Fridays by appointment.
Please keep fresh items separate and let us know you brought these items so we
can store them properly.
We will close at noon on Wednesday, November 25th and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th and November 27th.

Particularly at this time of year, our volunteers are very busy, and it is challenging for us to arrange for a pickup. If at all possible, we ask that you please drop off the food at our warehouse location: 2 Executive Drive, Morris Plains, NJ 07950. If necessary, we will do our best to arrange a pickup, but it is not guaranteed.

What can I do to help on Thanksgiving Day?
To allow our staff and volunteers to spend the holiday with their families, we will close at noon on Wednesday, November 25th and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, and November 27th.
But please join us for our annual Read Feed Run Turkey Trot, which takes place on Thanksgiving morning! Click here for more information.
Do you need volunteers?
The IFPN relies heavily on volunteers to help us achieve our mission. We have many on-staff and intermittent opportunities that need volunteers like you. If you are an individual interested in volunteering, please complete our volunteer application and we will get back to you as soon as possible. As the requests for volunteer opportunities often increase as we approach the holiday season, we thank you in advance for your patience.
